If the HS=OK key word is outside of the CONNECT_DATA section, the TNSNames Editor cannot pick it up.
For example...
QUEST=
(DESCRIPTION=
(ADDRESS=
(PROTOCOL=TCP)
(HOST=ALVQUEST)
(Port=1521)
)
(CONNECT_DATA=
(SID=QUEST.EXAMPLE.CORP)
)
(HS=OK)
)
The TNSNames Editor will not pick up HS=OK in the above format.
WORKAROUND: Please use notepad to edit your TNS entries that contains HS=OK.
STATUS: Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
