Database | Diagnose | Tablespace Map | maximize the Tablespace Map screen | hovering the mouse pointer on blank gray areas will 'still' shows the object name pop-ups.
Steps to replicate:
Go to Database | Diagnose | Tablespace Map | Tablespace Drop-down | select a tablespace | click on the Analyze icon | wait for the tablespace to be analyzed | maximize the Tablespace Map window | hover your mouse pointer in the blank / empty (no boxes areas) | Toad will still display pop-ups of the object names even if there are no boxes.
