Installed or applied Toad for Oracle Patch 12.1.1, and can no longer connect to any database. Toad 12.0.1 on the same machine works fine.
Issue happens when using an Oracle Client 10.1 version.
ERROR:
"ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied"
RESOLTUION 1:
Upgrade your Oracle Client software to i.e. an 11g R2 version.
RESOLTUION 2:
If the Oracle Client version cannot be changed from a 10.1 version, fully uninstall Toad for Oracle 12.1.1 (the patched version), and then re-install Toad for Oracle 12.1.0 (do not re-apply the patch).
