When populating the where clause in Toad Query Builder that contains brackets, when executing the query, the brackets get removed which results in the dataset returned to be incorrect
E.G
WHERE ID BETWEEN 1000 AND 8000 AND ( ID > 7000 OR ID < 2000)
When entering this in the query builder, the query result removes the brackets
