Loading of Workspace fails or does not continue when one of the saved database connections is no longer valid or when one of the database servers or instance is put offline in the future.
WORKAROUND:
Edit the ‘tnsnames.ora’ file and create a dummy connect descriptor for the defunct database and points it to a good database so that the connection can be made. Then load the Workspace, end the dummy connection, and re-save the Workspace. After that, undo the changes made to the tnsnames.ora’ file.
STATUS:
