Why cant I remove the selected entries from the login grid ? I tried to right click and choose remove but nothing happens.
The issue typically occurs when the connections have been sorted.
WORKAROUND
Please close out of Toad.
1) Manually edit the connections.ini file
a. Locate the file: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\TOAD V8.6\User Files\CONNECTIONS.INI
b. Edit\delete the entries
If the connections is corrupted and you need to create a new connection.ini file
2) Rename the connections.ini file and Toad will create a new one
a. Locate the file C:\Program Files\Quest Software\TOAD V8.6\User Files\CONNECTIONS.INI
b. Rename CONNECTIONS.INI to CONNECTIONS.INIOLD
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
Other possible issues:
Eirther the user does not have read/write access to the file that holds the information or the file has become corrupted.
