From TOAD 9.0.0.160, the Server Side Object wizard no longer has an option to install the explain plain.
1. View | TOAD Options.
2. From the right panel, select Oracle | General.
3. From the left panel, in the Explain Plan box, type in the Schema and Table name.
4. Click on the flash light icon to run the short wizard.
5. The short wizard will ask for the schema, table name, and table space.
6. Click on OK.
