After installing Toad, whenever I try to start Toad I get an "ElistError".
Follow the steps below to fix this issue.
1. Rename SAVEDSQL.XML file to SAVEDSQL.XML.OLD, so that there is no SAVEDSQL.XML file when starting Toad. The SAVEDSQL.XML file is located in the Toad for Oracle\User files directory.
2. Launch Toad
3. Select View|Toad Options|Editor-Code Assistant
4. Set the number of statements to save, in the SQL Recall section, to 999.
5. Close toad
6. Delete the new SAVEDSQL.XML file the was created and change the renamed your SAVEDSQL.XML.OLD file back to SAVEDSQL.XML
7. Now try launching Toad again.
