Inputting variable value into Variable window of a Code Template causes error "Could not convert
Description

Given a user defined Code Template, if you invoke the template by CTRL+SPACE and type in a value for a variable defined in the code template (e.g. &type_name), you get the error:

The application has encountered a problem. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Could not convert variant of type (Null) into type (OleStr).
Resolution

This issue seems to occur on some systems only and seems to be limited to Toad 10.0.0.41 and Toad 10.1.0.7. If you are experiencing this issue please try downloading Toad 10.1.1.8 from SupportLink fromhttps://support.quest.com.
