Missing DLL Files after upgrade to 9.7.2 -
Description
After an upgrade to 9.7.2 the follwoing error messages were returned:
ERROR: The following files not found
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\QUEST SOFTWARE\TOAD FOR ORACLE\qse.dll",
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\QUEST SOFTWARE\TOAD FOR ORACLE\QP5.dll".
Please see C:\PROGRAM FILES\QUEST SOFTWARE\TOAD FOR ORACLE\ToadSupportBundle.txt and contact support. -
Cause
Files may have gone missing during the upgrade process.

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
If uninstalling and reinstalling does not work, contact Support to send the DLL files of the same version to enable Toad to start:
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 9.7\QP5.dll
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 9.7\QSE.dll
