I would like to know to filter objects loaded in the Schema Browser upon loading, since it takes a long time to load?
Resolution

One way to filter/modify what you see in the Schema Browser in Toad for Oracle:

1. Select View | Options | Schema Browser | User/Schema lists.

2. Select the to See users that only own objects or exclude synonyms/temporary tables.
