Setting up FTP, Logon Failed: Authentication (Keyboard) Failure
Description

I am trying to set up FTP connection to a Unix server and I am getting an error “Logon Failed: Authentication (Keyboard) Failure”.
Cause

Secure Black Box. Toad uses Secure Black Box for FTP/SSH connections. The FTP/SSH connection in Toad may fail with the following message: "Logon failed: Authentication (keyboard) failure". This issue occurs because Secure Black Box has known issues with public Putty keys.
Resolution

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle.

WORKAROUND:
Use a third party FTP client, like FileZilla, outside of Toad for Oracle.
