When I try to alter a table that has datatypes relating to Oracle Spatial Objects (SDO_GEOMETRY) I get the following error message:
"Unknown/unsupported datatype: MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY"
Go to View | Options | Data Types and check the following box:
"Include Object Types (Oracle 8)"
Ok the changes and restart TOAD
