How to edit one single Procedure at the Package level
Description
When I edit a Package I am only interested in one Procedure at the Package level. I need to exclude the other programs when doing searches and global changes.
I also run the risk of accidentally changing one of the other programs. Does Toad for Oracle have a feature that facilitates this action?
Resolution
One can select a block of code, such as a procedure, go to Search>Replace and have it act on only the selected text. In addition, one can refactor>rename identifier at the cursor by right-clicking in the editor.
