From the Database Menu drill to | Reports | Reports Manager | and highlight "Invalid Objects".
Click on the "Schedule" icon | choose “Email”.
All the scheduling info is filled out properly.
However, this feature it does not work.
It seems to not do anything. In the Windows Task Scheduler, it just shows as “Running”.
If the Windows Task Scheduler is ran manually by right-clicking it | choose Run, the below error is generated:
"Unknown Error (11110)"
The Error below can also be received:
"Timeout expired (60)
504 5.7.4 Unrecognized authentication type"
The email settings with Fast Report will need to be populated first. The Schedule icon uses this information.
Although Fast Reports is compiled into Toad, it is a separate product and has its own settings.
To configure email settings in Fast Report:
1) Go to Database | Reports | Reports Manager as normal.
2) Choose the report (i.e. Invalid Objects) and click the green Play icon to ‘Preview’ the report.
3) On the report previewer’s main toolbar, click the 6th button (“Send by E-mail”).
4) Fill out the fields on both tabs (Email Tab and Account Tab).
5) IMPORTANT: On the Account Tab, check “Remember properties” (at the bottom).
6) Per one tests, only the “Host” field was populated. Leave the “Login” and “Password” fields empty or blank. Also leave the “Port” and “Time Out” fields as is.
Note: if the “Login” and “Password” fields are filled out, a "Timeout expired (60) 504 5.7.4 Unrecognized authentication type" error can be received.
7) Click OK, and then OK again.
8) If that report sends successfully, the scheduled report should now work as well. Proceed to Schedule the Report using the Schedule icon.
