Install Toad as a network/client install log in none administrative user and try to activate KX for PL.SQL or Formatter Plus user is prompt with the following message:
"Please enter your knowledge Xpert for PL\SQL License key"
WORKAROUND
1. Go to your TOAD directory on the server.
2. Copy and rename the QSAuth11.key file to QSAuthorize11.key
3. Place it back into the TOAD directory on your server.
Meaning you will have both QSAuth11.key and QSAuthorize11.key should be in the same TOAD directory.
Note:
This allows you to use KX for PL/SQL, you will NOT however be able to run most Active Topics, store Topic Notes, work with the sample project in FP, etc... to do this you'll need WRITE access to the TOAD and KnowledgeXpert directories.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of TOAD.
