When I have a syntax error in a CREATE statement Toad crashes.
WORKAROUND:
Turn off the 'Check rules as you type' option. You can do this by right clicking in the editor and selecting 'Check rules as you type'. If the issue still occurs, the disabling of the option may not have taken effect for that Editor. If that is the case, disable the option again, close the Editor window, then open a new one. That should fix the problem.
