Formatter error for compound trigger " Found 'local_variable', Expecting: BEGIN"

Clicking "Format code" button will generate a syntax error on compound trigger code, but there is no syntax error--the code compiles and works correctly.  Error "[Error] Syntax check (23: 12): ERROR line 23, col 12, ending_line 23, ending_col 25, Found 'local_variable', Expecting: BEGIN".

 

WORKAROUND:

None.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in future release of Toad for Oracle.
