Install Toad for Oracle and is getting the error " Invalid data type for TNS_ADMIN" when launching Toad. The database drop-down list is also empty.
Verify if there is an TNS_ADMIN entry in the system variable or in the Registry. Then verify if the value for the TNS_ADMIN entry is pointing to a correct directory where the tnsnames.ora file is located.
