When attempting a database connection from the dropdown list for LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) connections, the list is appearing empty, even if previous connections have been made successfully. However, when typing the connection details manually, TOAD connects correctly.
This issue occurs with Toad for Oracle 9.6.1 and 9.7.0, when an Oracle 11g client is in use.
WORKAROUND:
Use an Oracle 10g client to connect to LDAP connections.
