I get the message "error reading status bar.left out of system resources" as soon as I launch Toad, it appears right after the splash screen displays. The only way I can exit Toad at this point is to bring up Task Manager and end the program. I then get the access violation error.
Go into the Toad for Oracle directory and rename the file Toad.ini to Toad.ini.old. Then try launching Toad again.
NOTE: Make sure Toad is closed when renaming the Toad.ini file.
