When clicking on the data tab in the schema browser, the error message "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window" is received.
WORKAROUND #1:
1) Select View | Toad Options | Schema Browser | Data and Grids from the Toad menu
2) Uncheck the "Set focus to grid after selecting table, view, or materialized view"
3) Click OK
WORKAROUND #2:
1) Select View | Toad Options | Oracle-Transactions from the Toad menu
2) Uncheck the "Execute queries in threads"
3) Click OK
WORKAROUND #3:
1) Exit Toad
2) Locate the Toad.ini file within the Toad home directory
3) Right click on this and select rename - rename this to TOAD_OLD.ini
Toad settings will be lost, however, they can be obtained back by renaming TOAD_OLD.ini back to TOAD.ini.
