Even if Team Coding is set up correctly and in Team Coding Status, there are green checkmarks for all except "VCS Provider Connected", it's not possible to connect to the Team Foundation Server.
1. When using "Internal TFS Client":
When connecting to the database there is no login prompt for TFS. Every Team Coding operation ends with the error: "VCS Provider not logged in" or similar.
When selecting "VCS logon" manually, nothing happens. There is no login prompt and it doesn't connect.
2. When using tf.exe:
When starting Toad, there is a prompt for selecting a workspace. The list of workspaces is empty. When you try to create a new workspace by clicking the "new" button, you always get the error message "Error creating workspace" when trying to save. You have to cancel the dialog and the VCS provider stays disconnected.
