Users are not able to set partitions filter for partitioned tables in the Table Sort/Filter window when doing a described.
Steps to Replicate
Scenario #1:
1. Go to Schema Browser | Tables | select a Partitioned Table
2. Go to Data Tab and click on Filter icon (funnel shape icon)
3. Go to the Filter tab and add a filter on a Partition
4. Click OK
5. Now perform a DESCRIBE on the Partitioned table from either
a. Schema Browser | select the Partitioned table - hit F4
b. Object Palette | select the Partitioned table - hit F4
c. Type describe (partitioned table) name - Run F9
6. Go to Data Tab and click on filter icon
7. In the Table Sort/Filter window select Clear FIlter
8. If you go back to the same window via Step 5, the Partitions dropdown is no longer there.
Scenario #2:
1. Perform a DESCRIBE on the Partitioned table from either
a. Schema Browser | select the Partitioned table - hit F4
b. Object Palette | select the Partitioned table - hit F4
c. Type describe (partitioned table) name - Run F9
2. In the Table Sort/Filter window, the Partitions dropdown is not listed however if you go to Schema Browser | Table | Data Tab | select Filter icon - Partitions dropdown is there.
