Access Violation error when opening and closing Project Manager
Description

When opening or closing the Project Manager, an Access Violation error appears.
If the Project Manager is set to open automatically by default, the error will show when Toad starts up. It is possible to use Toad, but the error is always evident.
Cause

This bug occurs if the following registry entry is null:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\open\command]
This contains your default internet browser. If there is no default value here, the error appears with the Project Manager.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Put an entry in the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\open\command] registry entry, and the error will stop.
STATUS:
Enhancement request ST 78835 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
