Is there a way to convert a date to a numeric value.
Description

Is there a way to convert a date in TOAD to a numeric value.
Example: 8/24/2010 in Excel will convert to 40,414.

Calculation I am trying to do:
mm/dd/yyyy
7/10/2010 - 8/25/2010 = 3607
Converts to:
44,022 - 40,415 = 3607
Or
8/25/2010 - 8/23/2010 = 2
Converts to:
40,415 - 40,413 = 2

Resolution

There isn't anything in Toad that will convert dates to a number like it does in Excel. For date manipulation SQL would need to be written out to calculate and convert the dates to numeric values.
