Task Scheduler within Toad doesn't give the option to schedule a job to run hourly. How can this be set in Toad?
This is an issue when working with an install of Toad on Windows 7. Toad's task scheduler is based off of Window's task scheduler but with Windows 7, the option is left out in Toad because of changes to the task scheduler on the Windows end.
WORKAROUND:
Schedule the job initally in Toad as daily. Then go into Window's task scheduler and edit the job to set it to run hourly. This option is noted under the "Triggers" tab in Windows 7.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle.
If working in XP, Toad shold still have the option to set to run the task hourly by navigating throught the Advanced buttons (within Toad's scheduler). Similarly the option to set hourly is under the advanced buttong in Window's own task scheduler.
