There have been problems with the "Code Road Map" functionality where it has been causing the application to "hang". The application hangs shortly after the progress window with "Updating Diagram, Loading Graphics" appears. If you let it sit long enough, you will get an error message that says, "There was a failure when loading database objects into the diagram! Error loading XML data from parser". This issue is occurring with all there users
Several huge packages were initially able to run for code roadmap without error or hanging but, after receiving the first failure nothing will run without error, even ones that were able to run previously. Tried re-starting the compute but it's still a problem.
The program seems to be waiting for a response to an error message that does not show on the screen. Once you open the task and answer ok to close the message then Toad is still running, it just appeared to be hung while waiting for a response. It is the same issue if trying to access roadmap through database/reports/code roadmap. The errors every time no matter which way it is run and for any package big or small.

WORKAROUND:
Make sure the cache has been cleared. Disconnect and re-connect from the database session to address the issue of things not running after an initial failure.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle.
