In a new editor window, after running a simple query, the data grid is not readable as it has minimized all columns to the width of 1 character. This occurs consistently but does not occur every time a query is run.
The right click | size column options do help reset the size to make it readable, but eventually the issue will reoccur.
This is only an issue when...
- the data grid panel is unpinned.
- View | Options | Data Grid | Visual -- setting "Size by data" box is checked.
- on first editor window and first run of a query.
WORKAROUND 1:
Pin the data grid panel
WORKAROUND 2:
Go to View | Options | Data Grid | Visual -- "Size by Header" box is checked.
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle .
