Toad does not split files with multiple objects separated by a '/' when loading the file into the (4231733)

Toad does not split files with multiple objects separated by a / when loading the file into the editor.

I have a file with a package script that hold both the package body and spec. They are separated by a /. In previous versions of Toad, this worked properly so that when I open the file in the Editor, I get prompted to split the body and spec into two different tabs in the Editor. But now it does not split and gets loaded as one long script.

WORKAROUND1:

Enter the following in your code where you want your file to split:
/*<TOAD_FILE_CHUNK>*/

WORKAROUND2:

A hotfix is available on SupportLink that addresses this issue.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle.

This is not an issue in version 9.6 and older. This is found to be a problem in Toad 9.7.
