Connected database does not show up on Database Browser
Description
I connect to a database in Toad via TNSnames and in every tool available I'm able to see my connection; however in the Database Browser, I don't see my database listed to Browse.
Cause
Corrupted DatabaseBrowser.tdb
Resolution
RESOLUTION:
1. Close Toad. 2. Browse to default folder:

XP - C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\X.X\User Files Vista/7 - C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\X.X\User Files

3. Locate the file “DatabaseBrowser.tdb” and rename it to “DatabaseBrowser.tdb_OLD”. 4. Re-launch Toad and re-test the issue.

NOTE: X.X is the version of Toad for Oracle installed.
