Error using the the Find window in Editor: "Access violation at address 005DB8BA in module 'toad. -
Description
When the Find window is used from the shortcut keys or menu option, the following error appear after the window is closed either by using the Close or OK buttons:
"Access violation at address 005DB8BA in module 'toad.exe'. Read of address 00385FE6."
"Invalid Email"
Toad has to be killed by the Task Manager. -
Cause
Corrupted Find window parameters in Toad.ini file.

Resolution
1. Close Toad
2. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files folder
3. Locate Toad.ini file and open it with Notepad
4. Perform a search on "FindDialogMRU="
5. Remove the entire line along with all it's parameters
6. Save Toad.ini file
