Everytime the CTRL + 'key' shortcut action is used in the Editor, when the next key is typed, no matter what it is, the same 'key' used in the shortcut action is typed in the Editor.
Here are some examples...
1. When executing a query, using CTRL+ENTER, when the next key is pressed it acts like ENTER.
2. When copying, using CTRL+C, when the next key is pressed it will display a "c" in the Editor.
3. When pasting, using CTRL+V, when the next key is pressed it will display a "v" in the Editor.
