Unable or cannot install Toad.
ERROR:
RESOLUTION 1:
Ensure you downloaded the installer file 'directly' to your local C:\ drive or your Windows ‘Desktop’ location. If you downloaded to a network drive, delete that file and download a fresh copy; do not re-use the old file as it's more than likely corrupted. After re-downloading a fresh copy, right-click the file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’.
RESOLUTION 2:
Download and use the 'MSI (Special Installation Only)' file to install Toad. Unzip it first before running any of the .MSI installation files.
RESOLUTION 3:
Since domain network security policies, firewall, and antivirus software can override your Windows user's rights on the machine (even if you have Administrator Rights), have your IT or Helpdesk people perform the installation for you.
RESOLUTION 4:
Anti-virus configuration is not allowing anything to run from the %TEMP% directory. Configure your Anti-Virus software to allow access to the %TEMP% directory before launching or installing Toad. You may need assistance on this from your IT or Helpdesk people.
