When altering a table to remove one column, the LOAD-Statement does not reflect this change.
For example, all data is loaded, because there are several varchar columns. There is no error message. All records are loaded, but not in the correct manner.
When a column is removed out of the Table, the LOAD-Statement must reflect this change (DSN_IGNORE-Field for the column and the null-indicator)
WORKAROUND:
Select 'Use Temporary Tables' as the Preserve Data Method.
This can be specified on the Tools | Options | Database | DB2 | Advanced Admin tab or selected on the toolbar of Object editors.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for DB2.
