Generating DDL for a tablespace shows the attribute TRACKMOD as YES when in fact it should be TRACKMOD = NO as it is stored in the DB2 catalog.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.create tablespace below:
CREATE TABLESPACE Ttrack
IN DSNDB04
NUMPARTS 1(
PARTITION 1 USING STOGROUP SYSDEFLT
PRIQTY -1 SECQTY -1 ERASE NO
FREEPAGE 0
PCTFREE 5
GBPCACHE CHANGED
TRACKMOD NO
COMPRESS NO )
DEFINE YES
BUFFERPOOL BP0
CCSID EBCDIC
CLOSE YES
LOCKMAX SYSTEM
LOCKSIZE ANY
MAXROWS 255;
Notice that the trackmod is set to NO
Run the following select to make sure this is the value stored in the catalog for this tablespace:
select PARTITION, TSNAME, DBNAME, trackmod from sysibm.systablepart
where tsname='TTRACK'
The trackmod is set to no
Now generate a ddl fot the tablespace or just check the script generated by toad for that tablespace.,The trackmod is set to yes.
CREATE TABLESPACE TTRACK
IN DSNDB04
NUMPARTS 1(
PARTITION 1 USING STOGROUP SYSDEFLT
PRIQTY -1 SECQTY -1 ERASE NO
FREEPAGE 0
PCTFREE 5
GBPCACHE CHANGED
TRACKMOD YES
COMPRESS YES )
DEFINE YES
BUFFERPOOL BP0
CCSID EBCDIC
CLOSE YES
LOCKMAX SYSTEM
LOCKSIZE ANY
MAXROWS 255;
