Visual explain do not work in Toad when DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR=ORA or DB2_DEFERRED_PREPARE_SEMANTICS=YES.
Example:
Explain Plan is not working --------------------------------------------------------- 1. db2set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR=ORA 2. Create DB 3. Create explain tables on the DB using TOAD 4. Try to get Explain Plan.
Then the output is "Explain plan not available for this statement". But DB2EXPLN in db2cmd is still working normally.

Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for DB2.
