Uninstall of DB2 and Data Point using MSI/Silent Suppress Reboot. -
Description
We ran the following command to initiate the uninstall of Toad for DB2:
msiexec /x "C:\install\Toad DB2 2016\ToadforDB2_6.2.0.315_x86_En.msi" /l*v "c:\windows\debug\ToadDB2_uninstall.log" /qn ALLUSERS=1 sleep 5
msiexec /x "C:\install\Toad DB2 2016\SQLOptimizerForDB2LUW_4.3.0.174_x86_EN.msi" /l*v "c:\windows\debug\SqltoadDB2_uninstall.log" /qn
ALLUSERS=1 After the uninstall the computer restarted. Is there anyway to suppress the reboot on uninstall for Toad for DB2 and Toad Data Point? Thanks.

Resolution
The msiexec is a separate tool for Windows Installer technology uses Msiexec.exe for installing MSI and MSP packages. This tool gives you full control over the installation process, allowing you to set:/norestart - the machine will not be restarted after the installation is complete/promptrestart - the user will be prompted if a reboot is required/forcerestart - the machine will be restarted after the installation is completemsiexec /i "C:\Example.msi" /norestartAlso, these might work.msiexec /i <MSI> REBOOT=Rormsiexec /i <MSI> REBOOT=ReallySuppress.
