User launches Toad and tries to import connection information from another DB2 Copy or DB2 Client and gets the following error:
CCA3000C An internal error has occured. Reason code "49".
Following the error the import fails.
Toad executes the following command to export the code catalog from the other DB2 client:
db2cfexp c:\exportedcat.txt M
The error comes from the other DB2 client.
RESOLUTION 1:
Check if the issue is with the other DB2 client.
1. Open a Windows command prompt.
2. Browse to your native DB2 Copy bin folder. (For example C:\SQLLIB\BIN)
3. db2cfexp c:\exportedcat.txt M
This will export the catalog to c:\exportedcat.txt. If you get the same error, then the issue is with the DB2 client. Contact your DB2 administrator to resolve the issue. If the export succeeds, follow these steps to import them into Toad for DB2 manually.
4. Open Toad for DB2.
5. Go to File | New | New Connection
6. Click on Launch DB2 Connection Wizard, then select Import Profile
7. Select the exportedcat.txt and complete the Wizard.
WORKAROUND 1:
Enter your connection information manually
1. Launch Toad. Go to File | New | New Connection
2. Click on Launch DB2 Connection Wizard
3. Click on Add Catalog Entry.
4. Enter your connection information and complete the Wizard
