"Toad.exe - Fatal error CLR error: 80004005..." -
Description
After installing Toad and trying to launch the application, I get the error:
Toad.exe - Fatal error
CLR error: 80004005
The program will now terminate.
The error comes up before asking for license and I follow the standard/default installation. There did not seem to be any problems with the Toad installation. -
Cause
This issue seems to be related to the .NETframework installation.

Resolution
Review the system requirements for Toad for DB2 to make sure they are met and review the install of the .NET on the system. Toad requires .NET 2.0 and above.
