"The type intilizer for 'Quest.Toad.DB2.DB@ConnectionControl' threw an exception" given on connectio

Errors out when trying to bring up Toad's connection window.

"System.TypeInitializationException
The type intilizer for 'Quest.Toad.DB2.DB@ConnectionControl' threw an exception."

This forces Toad to close.

Issue with permissions and limited access to the installation and program folder.

Give user id modify access to the installation/program folder. 

In general, Toad needs Power user privileges for general use. Administrator privileges are needed for installation.

This issue may apply to various versions of Toad for DB2 Other errors that may be encountered with this is: "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception Access is denied" "Toad 5.0.0.638 has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Toad was installed using a prepackaged bundle. User has limited privileges in general (not admin, not power user). But the bundle should allow them to install.
