When retrieving a large data set from the Database Browser, the error 'Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown' may occur.
Perform the following steps to troubleshoot this error message.
1) Exit out of Toad.
2) Make sure that you can view hidden files and go to this directory: "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software". 3) Locate the "Toad for DB2" folder.
4) Rename this folder to "Toad for DB2 OLD"
5) Restart Toad and retest the problem.
