Cannot or unable to login. What is the Toad password? Where do I get my login credentials? What is my username and password?
The account is locked so it needs to be unlocked and the password reset.
There is a prompt that the password has expired, and to reset, the old password is needed, but what is the old password?

Cause
Toad itself does not require a password. Prompts for passwords are related to the database.

Resolution
The screen that prompts for a username and password is the connection window. The user name and password it refers to is the database log in info that is needed to connect to the database. This is a database setting/requirement. If assistance is needed for this password, contact the Database Administrator (DBA) for that database, your internal IT people, or your internal Helpdesk.

Additional Information
Toad itself requires a "license key" or "authorization key", and a "site message". This should only be prompted for on the initial launch of Toad after install. The Quest Software Support Portal site will prompt for a password when logging in to download or access support content. If assistance is needed for this, please use the "Forgot Password" link, or contact supportadmin@quest.com
