Can Toad Edge be used to export a schema and its data? -
Resolution
Schemas and table data can be exported by following the two below steps:
Step 1: Export the Structure
1) Take a snapshot of a database. In Object Explorer, right-click any database and select Take Snapshot:
2) Change the snapshot name if you wish. Then click OK.
Snapshots are stored in the Toad Edge folder structure. You can access the snapshot files in Snapshots View.
Step 2: Export the Data
1) In the Object Explorer, expand the "Database" node.
2) Right-click on the "Tables" node and select "Export Data".3) Select all tables (ctrl+a) and click "Next".
4) Select required settings and click "Finish".
This will export the data in the desired format.

To import the snapshot, go to "Snapshots View" | Right-Click on the snapshot | Import Snapshot
To import the data, right-click on a table, select "Import Data" and follow the wizard.
