When exporting pivot report to Excel, one of the columns spans two Excel columns
Description

We are creating a Pivot Report from a Pivot File (.tpg) and saving as an Excel file from the 'Preview' option. The appearance of the column field in Excel splits the data column for one of the columns into two columns. For example, the data should only take up column D, but it also spans column E. Can this prevented?

Resolution

WORKAROUND
Manually delete the second of the merged columns. This will retain the data in the first column. e.g. if the data spans columns D and E, then delete column E.
