Description
Encountered following error when multiple reports are scheduled to run at the same time. Each report is scheduled as a single job.
System.IO.IOException
The process cannot access the file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts Trial 2.7\Connections.xml' because it is being used by another process. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND1
Stagger the jobs to run at slightly different times.
WORKAROUND2
Set the connection to Auto connect on startup. This may have the automation piece use the already connected connection.
WORKAROUND3
Do not use the Toad Data Reports (TDR), instead try using just the query and the Select To File activity.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for Data Analysts.
