Trying to create an animation scrip but Failed to create input stream.
Description

Customer is trying to create an automation script in Toad Data Point (Version: 3.8.0.575) that downloads an FTP file from the FTP server onto the local machine. He is able to create an FTP connection and test/connect successfully when asked to “Select an FTP Connection”. however when I click “Define Operations” an error prompt states “Failed to create input stream”
Cause

Navigation Process:

1. click here to launch the FTP module
2. click on the three dots here … to set the connection
3. set the connection and click save password.
4. test the connection and it states “The connection test was successful.”
5. Please keep in mind that this is an FTP connection and not a regular connection in the Navigation Manager. The FTP connection is not displayed in the connection manager.
After the connection is set I click “Define Operations…” in position 2 next to the “…” -----After clicking “Define Operations…” the screen freezes for about 3-4 minutes and eventually produces the error.
Resolution

When first connect you have to grant access to the network. See attached screenshot. After you done this the FTP connection is fine.
