Cannot find .NET 3.5 SP 1 even though it is already installed on Windows 7 -
Description
I am on Windows 7 and getting a message it needs .NET 3.5 SP1 before it can be installed.
I already have.NET 3.5 SP1 installed. -
Resolution
Download Toad for Data Analyst commercial standalone installer from SupportLink:
http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp -
Additional Information
If problem persists, run the installation from the command line and send the logfile "installLog.txt"? (It will be in the C:\temp folder.)
Below is the command to run.
You will need to replace the appropriate values to match your USERNAME etc...:
setup.exe /L*v "C:\temp\installLog.txt" INSTALLDIR="C:\TestInstall\Toad" USERNAME="SOMEBODY" COMPANYNAME="SOMECOM" ApplicationUsers="AllUsers"
