Trying to uninstall Toad for Data Analysts 2.1 but receive message:
The DB2 copy TACOM21 in Quest Software Toad for Data Analysts 2.1 is the default DB2 copy. You must set a new default before uninstall it. Please use the DB2 Default Selection Wizard to choose a new default DB2 copy , then restart the uninstall again.
It's an IBM requirement if a DB2 client was installed as the default DB2 copy and you have other DB2 clients installed, you need to use the Default DB2 Selection Wizard to make one of the other DB2 clients the default copy prior to uninstall.
To resolve this error, please go to Start | All Programs | IBM DB2 | TACOM21 | Set-up Tools | Default DB2 Selection wizard. Run the wizard and select another DB2 client other than TACOM21 to be the default client. Once that completes you will be able to uninstall successfully.
