TDA hanging when trying to access/run some of their saved automated task. Toad would hang when trying to access the Excel file or when trying to run a task that accesses that file. The common issue was with TDA accessing an excel files/spreadsheets with pivot charts. This is a problem with old and new Excel files that he specifics in the automation. This is only an issue with TDA 3.0. I did not have this issue with TDA 2.7. If I only has a pivot tables (no charts) then there is no issues. The excel file itself is fine. When the pivot chart is removed, the .tas doesn't hang.
Workaround:
Remove the pivot chart.
